Default What's going in the Manchester area currently

NRE is reporting a broken down train at Didsbury causing disruption but many other services (Sheffield, Hull, London, Birmingham, Chester) are disrupted suggesting there may be a signalling or track problem. There's also a cancelled train from Blackpool but that appears to be due to a problem with the unit.

A WCML signalling problem has also been given as a reason for the cancellation of a Manchester-London service.
