Nope, most of us still have to do reactions tests before we get a structured interview!

Ok, no worries. Hope you all get through it soon-seems a bit strange that the computers aren't getting fixed quicker? Or you could be sent to donny or Crewe to do it?
Cheers

Possibly cheaper for GA to wait until they're fixed. I don't think they're in any rush to fill the places (I couldn't start training until January and I've been told there'll be courses then)

Hey mate, just be yourself as they want to know you and what strengths you have. They are all really nice, and will make you feel relaxed. Good luck and all the best, what depot have you gone for?

Hi Scotsman,
Thankful for your info-I was worried that there might be "buzz words" involved at the area managers interview, but it doesn't sound like that's the case?
I'm quite looking forward to it in a way because it will give me some chance to find out more about the company and the way things work there.
It's interesting to see if it's similar to Northernrail as part of the same group.
Cheers!

I have said that I'd be happy with any depot by the way-If successful I'm moving from Leeds train crew depot to step up into the driver grade so it doesn't really matter where I'll work from ...

I applied for the position when it was first advertised but never had any form of reply - rejection nor invitation to the interview / assessments. Did anyone else get a straight rejection or are there others still waiting for any form of correspondence? I'm tempted to give them a call to find out; above all I'd like feedback on my application so that next time I can work on it.

I'm in the same position. Heard absolutely nothing from them. I know my application hasn't got lost in the post as I hand delivered it.

A letter or email acknowledging the application would've been nice seeing as its been a while since the closing date.

Same here I hand delivered mine but don't loose faith they have just finished the first intake and they will send out more invitations as soon as they know how many they need, I think out of the 12 positions only 5 have been assessed for so there is still time. The fact that there has been no rejections is a good thing.

jthorne,

I assume that you have passed all the tests and still await the reaction test, is this correct?

Have you contacted HR GA and had any feedback at all?

Just curious, as I am interested in GA myself.

Regards
Lanc
