[BVE] Help (OpenBVE)

Hi i accidently came across OpenBVE the other day and started playing the Cross-city Redditch to Birmingham Route.
I went to explore other routes that i might be able to play and came across the route i use regularly.
So anyway i downloaded the Ashford to London Victoria Route File and Object File from http://www.mikan.demon.co.uk/john/john.htm
But i don't know where to save the files and where to find the trains for this route.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Does it not come with any instructions or readme file?

I had wrote a fairly long & drawn out answer but having done a quick search managed to find one that's a lot simpler.

It's the last post in this thread.
