Hi all
The weekend is nearly upon us and here is the loco rota for Stapleford Steam 9th 10th June Loco rota as follows for both days which is slightly altered this year to the usual due to the absence of the Berkshire this year: Green and Saint paired from 10-00 till 12-00 NYC Niagara from 10:15 EAR 31 class from 11:15 From 12-00 onwards, the Saint will pair with the Warship Diesel which will provide assistance only as required and the Green Atlantic will then operate solo This will give us 4 loco sets in operation from 12-00 both days and is the first time for some years the Diesel will have been in public service. This will not only provide a unique photo opportunity but also allows us flexibility while still retaining the atmosphere of steam traction on all our trains for passengers http://www.fsmr.org.uk/events-directions.html postcode for the event LE14 2SF Real ales list for the event are: IPA 3.6% Farmer’s Ales, Essex It's a bit light to be a true IPA, but its certainly hoppy. An amber coloured beer Pucks Folly 4.2% Farmer’s Ales, Essex A golden beer to rival any other on the bar. Light and refreshing with a citrus note Golden Gorse 5.4% Humpty Dumpty, Norfolk A Norfolk Blonde Ale. Very light in colour and with a balanced hoppy finish. It's a lovely refreshing drink; the perfect substitute for a pint of lager. Reedham Gold 4.6% Humpty Dumpty, Norfolk A light golden ale with biscuity malt flavours and a long, dry, bitter finish Double W IPA 7.4% Humpty Dumpty, Norfolk Strong American-style IPA, brewed with Target hops and dry hopped with Centennial & Simcoe Red Head 4.2% Tipples, Norfolk Packed full with hop flavours and a great balance of pale and crystal malts makes this beer our best seller. A great all round red/amber bitter . The Hanged Monk Mild 3.8% Tipples, Norfolk A traditional dark red/brown mild. Coffee Porter 4.3% Caledonian, Edinburgh Mocha beer in colour with a thick beige cream head. Roast coffee and dark chocolate on the nose. Red Bush Raspberry Ale 4.8% TSA Brewing Co, Stirling A vibrant brew, packed full of fruit and hops which will satisfy your taste buds. Light blonde, with a hint of pink and a fruity zest. 1555 4.3% Bishop Nick A rich tawny beer with an unmistakably sweet nutty taste underlined by ginger and fruit Ridley’s Rite 3.6% Bishop Nick A good, honest session beer, English Fuggles and Goldings do a sterling job of balancing crystal and pale ale malts, working their hops off for a floral aroma Heresy 4.0% Bishop Nick Pale ale malt and Challenger hops commit the brew to spicy bitterness with citrus and florals.
