But one which has existed for yonks, track-to-train CCTV was first used on the 1992 stock on the Central line and all later trains with minimal problems. A far safer solution too, as the platform is still visible even after the point at which platform-mounted OPO mirrors/monitors would have been passed.

Does anybody have the diagrams for the 3 S7 stocks that are now in service?

Already posted at #16 in this thread:

The S7 'preview service'/training runs:
T700 M-F "runs as required":
1007 Hammersmith-Moorgate 1040
1055 MGT-HMS 1127
1128 HMS-MGT 1202
1210 MGT-HMS 1241
1428 HMS-MGT 1502
1510 MGT-HMS 1541.

The 4 S7s delivered rotate onto this 1 working.

Went on my first S stock last Saturday and they are excellent; very quiet but also cooler than all other stock, complete change having to get on the boiling 1992 stock to Stratford!

Even if the S7s had the heaters on full power, they'd be cooler than the C-stock they replace!! I can't think of any stock that has been hotter, after being left out in the sun and with no openable windows and terrible ventilation to cool things down once on the move.

A real shame too, as the trains aren't actually that bad and had plenty of room inside. Not as much as now, though.

Possibly due to the fact they are the first production UndegrounD trains fitted with air conditioning.

S7s occasionally now run additionally on the later timings of T700:

2028 Hammersmith-Moorgate 2102
2110 MGT-HMS 2141
2142 HMS-MGT 2217
2225 MGT-HMS 2257.

I see that there are now 4 S7s available. Is there any word on when they'll become available for full operation on the Hammersmith and city line?
Also are they cleared for any other sections (not including the met line, such as southern section of the circle line)?

Work is still progressing on moving signals at Barking sidings, platform camera alignment to Barking for the full services to start "towards the year end" maybe with the new WTT28 from 9 December.
The rest of the Circle is not yet cleared for S7 passenger operation, again signal repositioning, platform camera alignment still ongoing at most locations.

Not just at the moment of course, with The Games taking place.
The next time will be Sat 15 September between Earl's Court-Wimbledon during the scheduled closure.

I've heard many rumours that the entry into normal service, rather than the Moorgate 'preview', will be with December's timetable change.

The first S7+1 21319+21320 has been delivered for the MET. These 3 will be available once the first S8 is returned to Derby.

Also 21309+21310 has been delivered for the H&C so should rotate onto T700 with the other 4.

S7s testing Gloucester Road-Tower Hill today.
