Neither of those, I wouldn't be surprised if a 150 had made it to where the photo was taken, but a 142 has to the best of my knowledge never been there.

It's a BR era MU but not a 314, anyone recognised what's in the background?

Cowley wins with a 156, the feature is the Isle of Eigg off Mallaig.

I should have known that, I've camped opposite it for a week.
Going to have to say open floor today.

I am going to finally take the floor, now I have my pictures back off backup from when I 'won' the floor and discovered they were corrupted!

Its either a 165 or 166 unit. From looking at the design and positions of the windows and the lack of 1st class i am going to guess a class 165?

That was no slower than expected to get the correct answer - 4 minutes! Is that a record in this thread? How you got there being no First Class? Here's the full picture, taken on 20th January 2017 at Goring Viaduct over the River Thames just south of Goring and Streatley Station.

That is a brilliant scenic photo! All 166s have two large windows at both ends of the unit where as 165s have two large windows and one small window at the non 1st class end of the unit.

Here is my photo to guess.

Is it a 66? They've got a big ladder.
