The competition rules have been tidied up, which involved the removal of a lot of information that was not specifically rules. This information has now been moved to this thread.

The POTW competition is open to all members of RailUK, and all members may vote. To enter, visit http://www.railforums.co.uk/gallery/ where you will be automatically logged in, then upload your photo. Your photo will not appear in the gallery initially but will appear when it is time to vote

The photographs will be published on the forum when it is time to vote, but the names of the photographers will not be revealed until voting is over.

Submissions for each week's competition are to be uploaded during the first week at http://www.railforums.co.uk/gallery/, voting will be carried out during the second week.

The competition will have a theme every week, which is to be chosen by the previous winner.

In the event of a draw, a member of staff who hasn't voted will choose the winning photo.

Where no theme for the next competition has been specified, the choice will be passed to the runner up (and so on).

Photographs do not have to contain a train, unless the competition explicitly requires them to
