Default Stansted Airport to Sheringham

Am I being thick?

I can't see the difference between an anytime single @ £28 and an anytime single @ £77.20. (London Midland site).

£28 is not via London. £77.20 is any permitted route.

Some websites make it clearer than others. You could try brfares.com which has all the information from the fares manual (note, however that it includes discontinued fares and also promotional fares, neither of which you will actually be able to obtain).

position your mouse on the fare and a "tip" appears telling you the details.

This is how it shows on the iPad, I guess it would be the same on other smart devices;
