Question Guess the Train...

So here we are, time for something new or should I say the reincarnation of something from a few years ago?

Trainmania100 has been in touch with us to propose a Guess the Train game!

The idea of this game is to guess the train class based upon the picture posted by a user...

The Rules
  • You may only post photos of UK train classes which are in active service on the National Rail network.
  • You may post a photo of any part of the train.
  • The use of image manipulation or editing so to further obsure the identity of a train is forbidden.
  • Copyright rules obviously apply and if the photo is not yours and you have found it on the web then please attribute the author.

As per usual, if you post a photo please do check back regularly to say yes and no to guesses - if you win the floor, please post a new photo within twenty four hours of your guess being confirmed as correct - failure to do such will cause the floor to be open for other posters.

The floor is open for the first player to set the scene for us...

Any queries or concerns, please do not hesitate to get in touch with a Quizmaster.

Happy quizzing!

TP

Is that a class 37 with one of the blokes from Hale and Pace in the cab?
(Possibly on the phone to his agent)

Sorry guys no, it seems you both fell in the trap there, although in fairness it is totally understandable and I would have done the same.

Could it be the windscreen and wiper blade & arm of a Virgin East Coast HST?

Unfortunately Mr B it is not. It's a nice wiper arm though isn't it? Not a class 43 one though.

Hmm.. class 91s have very similar arms to that one, can I try that? Btw. It's not your van windscreen by any chance?
