Default 142 pacer on the cumbrian coastline

Hi all, has anyone had the pleaseure of the 142 pacer that has been sent to barrow for the summer so that 153s can be sterngthened. i went for a lovely ride up to Ravenglass today, it was lovely, i think i ended up on the same 156 train there and back. Apparently a 142 has been sent till september, but has anyone seen it/ been on it in service and what diagrams is it doing? seemed to be in the sidings today at Barrrow

A bit off topic, but I'm curious about the 142s still running on FGW's south Devon lines. Were they supposed to have been withdrawn late last year?

Think you'll find they're 143's.

There are no Class 142s operating within First Great Western now - The last 3 'Donkeys' headed back up north after First Great Westerns Farewell to Class 142 tour (Last November).

I didn't realise the Pacers had so many variants, I just see the awful bus-type doors and assume the worst. The upgraded ones have nicer seats, but they are still pretty rubbish rolling stock.
