PROBLEM: Photo looks blurry or unclear

SOLUTION: Some photos may not appear as sharp as they should be, to see the image properly, with correct sharpness, please click it and look at the larger version, which will appear in a popup window

PROBLEM: I'm trying to upload a picture and get an error (including token error)

SOLUTION: You probably haven't resized your picture properly. I suggest resizing to 1024x768 or 800x600, if that doesn't work please email the picture to me.
OR
SOLUTION: Try another browser. Safari is known to cause problems with the upload process.

If you dont know how to resize photos, get picturetray, be sure to set the scale to 'Special' then type in the required size (1024, 768 or 800, 600), also go into advanced settings and change resampling to 'Lanczos 3'.

PROBLEM: There is no upload link showing/I am not logged in when I navigate to the gallery.

QUESTION: Can the photo be taken on a preserved railway?

ANSWER: Yes, any form of railway (preserved, mainline, light, miniature, etc) is always fine unless explicitly specified by the subject (you couldn't enter preserved railway phot in a "Steam on the mainline" competition obviously!)

QUESTION: Does there have to be a train in the photo?

ANSWER: No, unless the competition specifies (there must be a train in the photo if the competition is "HSTs" for example) - however all photos must be railway related

QUESTION: Can I enter a photo that I have entered before?

ANSWER: Yes, providing it didn't win. Winning photos can not be entered again.

QUESTION: Can I change my entry?

ANSWER: Yes, just upload your new entry. The newest entry will be accepted and any previous entries deleted.
