Default 158783 Central Trains

Hi guys,

Thought I'd share a couple of videos with you that I've made.

1) - It's a clip of a Bachmann Class 158, that's been super-detailed to make it look absolutely battered in every way possible, passing a level crossing on the branch line of our model railway and entering one of the many tunnels.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UkCZ16jOOKA

2) - Clip of another 158 (FTPE) going the other way etc.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HNnOWG-EJvc

I have edited the clips with sounds of real 158s, which in my opinion sound very good.

Tell me what you think. But be kind, it's my first attempt!

If people like it I might consider doing some more with different trains. 225s, 47s, 37s, HSTs etc!

Thats really good well done.

Only improvements I could see are lighting, as it looks very much like a model railway. Needs to be brighter I think. And the length of the clip, seems a bit short, especially as the title sequence is so long in comparision! haha

The sound is good, I like that idea, may have to invest in a video camera...

Thanks guys.

EDIT - I've re-uploaded the original clip which has now been ammended with no music and much better title sequences. Also, I've uploaded a new clip of 158768 (First TransPennine Express) coming the other way with sound. More clips of other trains to come!

I like it, I especially like the way the Bachmann model moves like the real thing, and doesn't jerk around all over the place like some models in videos. The sound just adds to it.

absolute coolness

Sadly it's added from me and not actually coming from the 158s........yet!

When SWD get the horn right on their sound clip I might get one!

I've just added another couple of vids. This time some Class 156s.

Gonna go do some mainline trains now!

Excellent! I look forwards to it all, and seen the recent two very good and the timing in all seems to be good. Keep it up!
