Yes it's another plug for the events over the weekend in the south, I've just had so much to process it's taken me until now to finish!
First up we have the Mid Hants End of Southern Steam gala which was most enjoyable. http://www.southernrailwaypics.co.uk...uly/index.html Being a working volunteer and holding PTS I was able to go lineside and obtain shots that others could not, giving perhaps a different perspective to the gala. 37248 also pictured arriving with the tour from Victoria, this shot being completely unique: ![]() A few of my favourites: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Then on Sunday it was a chase around the area for Lord Nelson and Clan Line, with both captured within 10 minutes of each other at Worting Junction as Nelly was a 45 late departure from Waterloo. ![]() ![]() Further images of Clan Line here: http://www.southernrailwaypics.co.uk...ges/index.html Hope you enjoy. |

What a shot. Also, this one: http://www.southernrailwaypics.co.uk.../img_4758.html is a fantastic image, just what railway preservation should be about. Top notch. These pictures all look fantastic! I picked the wrong weekend to be back in Hertfordshire Last edited by WessexWarrior; 9th July 2007 at 18:07. |
