Default Waterden Garage open day - 25/6 (at Stratford)

From www.lots.org.uk:

Saturday 25 June.

The Stratford Waterden Road open day on Sat 25/6 now from 10.30 am rather than 11am. There will be several special bus services with interesting vehicles over parts of routes 25 and 86, and local open-top bus tours as well

It is hoped that Cobham's RML 3 might make a trip on the 8, so for those who missed it a year ago, now is the chance to try it out!

Just so you know, this information is for use on this forum only, not the "other forum":

X25 - Mile End Station via 25 stops to Stratford, then non stop to WA.
First bus at 10:30, then every 30 mins to 15:00

X86 - Ilford Stagecoach shop to Stratford via 86 stops then non-stop to WA,
First bus at 10:35, then every 30 mins to 15:05

Additional short workings: Stratford to WA every 10 mins

Un-numbered circular service - every 30 mins using an artic from Waterden Rd

2 First Group's Fuel cell buses will be hired on the day running to Bow roundabout

2 Bristol FLF's (open top will run circular tour; closed top will run on X25 & X86)

Most other journeys will be operated by traditional half cab buses from LT museum, Blue Triangle, Cobham, Ensign and Stagecoach

SUBJECT TO FINAL APPROVAL: Cobham's RML3 will operate on route 8 from Victoria at 10:00 via Liverpool Street at 10:45 to Old Ford and then to WA. Return from WA at 16:30 back to Victoria, and possibly a midday round trip to Liverpool Street

Yes - it will work the 10:00 from Victoria and 12:45 (I presume from Waterden Road), as well as a couple of afternoon trips.

Another piece of information is that Blue Triangle's RTW 75 will run from Victoria at 1015 and 1615, and Waterden Road Garage at 1145 and 1745 on the 8. This service will omit Bow Church.
