When did 18356 arrive at Carlisle depot as I have travelled on it a few times from Blackpool to Preston on service no. 61.

It wasn't there last week, so I'd assume over the weekend, or yesterday.

From Stagecoach website:

From Monday 5th March, we will be introducing the following improvements to Route 104 (Carlisle - Penrith - Centre Parcs) and the 103 (Carlisle - Newton Rigg Campus).
  • The 104 wil now operate every 30 minutes between Carlisle and Penrith during the day Monday to Saturday.
  • Additional journeys to Newton Rigg Campus on University days.
  • Additional journeys to Castletown, Monday to Saturday.
  • The 214 journey will be merged into the new timetable and becomes a 104

1 per hour Center Parcs, 1 per hour Gilwilly (Castletown). Both should be low floor.

Probably will just be repaint, but it would be nice if it did stay! 17017 isn't the best of buses for the new 104 journeys, would be nice to have 2 matching buses on there.

From bus & coach buyer:
Cumbria drivers are best
According to data from Stagecoach’s Green Road eco-driving system, its drivers in Cumbria are the most fuel efficient. In March 2011, the company announced it was installing the driver monitoring technology on its 6,500 UK buses outside London and that around 13,800 drivers were to begin using it.
The Green Road system is designed to encourage drivers to stay within a ‘green driving zone’ with those performing best getting the score closest to zero. Events such as harsh braking or acceleration carry one point each. A driver needs to achieve an average of two points or less an hour over the course of every ten hour block of driving to achieve the target. Drivers at Stagecoach's Carlisle/Penrith depot beat the target by 60%, with an event rate of just 0.8 per hour of driving, making them the best in the country. Drivers in Barrow, Lancaster, West Cumbria and Kendal also consistently perform ahead of the target. Stagecoach is targeting a 4% reduction in fuel consumption using the system.

The 104 extra runs will be operated by 17017 & 18357. When they are not available a Olympian will cover due to school interworkings.

Default Change of display screen

ME based 47247 today had a different display to all of the other minibuses, it flashed underneath the destination the places on the way, via "place" are they bringing this back to ME rather than just having the destination and nothing else? i notice that all other depots have the places scrolling underneath and ME just doesnt?

No all Morecambe Destionation blinds are all static with no scrolling. 47247 Hasnt had its blind updated as when all where updated 47247 was of road with engine problems so never got done.

The 4724x Solos at Morecambe have Mobitech LEDs as opposed to the more normal Hanover examples. I expect that when the programming was updated the original scrolling was left on the chip and the driver 'dug it out' so to speak.

17017 and 18357 were out on 61's today with 20545 and 20994 going to Barrow with 47018 returning to Carlisle. Do not think 20994 made it all the way though.
