First time I've seen that one, 17217 doesn't seem too bad to me but 17277 despite being newer doesn't seem to have as much power somehow.

Not North West but it appear SC have been clobbered again by the OFT and the CC:

STAGECOACH WITHDRAWS FROM ANTICIPATED ACQUISITION OF NORTH DEVON BUS OPERATIONS

10 July 2012

Stagecoach Group plc ("Stagecoach") announced today (10 July 2012) that it is no longer proceeding with its planned acquisition of the North Devon business and assets of First Devon and Cornwall Limited ("First").

It follows the decision by the Office of Fair Trading (OFT) today to refer the anticipated acquisition to the Competition Commission due to "concerns the merger will reduce competition in local bus services in the area".

A Stagecoach Group spokesman said: "We are extremely disappointed at the decision of the OFT to refer what is a relatively small transaction to the Competition Commission.

"We do not believe we can justify spending further money and management time on what has already been a lengthy process.

"As a result, we have reluctantly decided not to proceed with the acquisition and have informed First we are withdrawing."

Stagecoach Group announced on 12 March 2012 that its subsidiary, Stagecoach Devon Limited, had signed an agreement with First Devon and Cornwall to acquire its business and assets in North Devon and Torridge for a gross consideration of £2.8m.

I wonder what the plan of action is with these Tridents. Now the press will be watching it SC will be under pressure to keep them out consistently and so far it isn't working...

47474 first day out in Carlisle today on the 67/68 joined by 47016 on the 61/61A. 47020 is also expected to land anytime here. We are no longer going to use 47020.

17017 broke down on 104 today replaced by 34695.

If you want shots of the MPDs be quick!

One of the Kendal B10s due to arrive here anytime for Sainsburys contract.

What's replacing the MPDs (though they aren't actually MPDs) if 47020 isn't seeing service then?

The following B10M's are now back in service at Morecambe:- 20131, 20545, 20546, 20547, 20795, 20896, 20905, 20907. All having been recently repainted, which makes me think that they could be around after the olympics.
