Currently you cannot purchase tickets online. This is due to a problem with the Reservation System. It will return soon.

This has been down since about 13:00 today! According to someone at NXEC, the industry will have lost 'millions' from the fiasco. Apparently, it may not even be back tomorrow morning, resulting in chaos tomorrow at stations!

Does it just cause bookings to be down? or does it mean reservations cannot be printed for display on trains? does it prevent automated systems on Pendos/Voyagers from working?

If NRS is down - then nothing can be done to do with AP tickets as they are solely based on reservations, and as it suggests, it's the national reservation system, so no labels can be printed. Same with 220/221/222/390 automatic res systems.

Everything goes, printed and electronic reservations, tickets with reservations, even fastticket pickup!

So what would you do if you had an AP ticket to collect and the system was down? Surely they couldn't charge you?
