Thumbs up BVE4 with Windows 7

Hi, my first post! have been a user of BVE4 for many years now under XP, and recently took the (foolish?) plunge by upgrading OS to Windows 7 (beta - free for a year). Actually very impressed, however BVE4 unsurprisingly didn't work.

However, good news. I followed the thread http://www.railforums.co.uk/showthread.php?t=13429 (Vista orientated) and BVE4 now works superbly!!!

I am a very real novice when it comes to computing (what the heck is a "command prompt" etc) but the instructions were well written and simple to follow.

Apologies if this subject has already been covered, but there will presumably be a lot of future enquiries as to compatibility with Windows 7.

Well done and thank you to all you guys who continue and develop programs such as BVE. I am a driver myself, and experience "real" simulators occasionally, and I can honestly say there is very little difference in reality between them and the excellent routes I have on my PC!!
