Another one from Switzerland, this one is on loco 460 078 and can get a bit boring when it is sat in the depot or similar for any length of time.

Been watching the WCML Cam for the past half hour. Nothing's went by. Is there nothing running on the WCML tonight? There was plenty of freight last night around this time.
--- old post above --- --- new post below ---
Okay, something strange passed the WCML cam at approx 01:47, headed by a 66 with headlights on at full beam. The train was lit up entirely, but it wasn't a passenger or regular freight that I know of. Anyone got any ideas?

Edit: Never mind. Seems it was a Rail Grinder. It looked awesome!

The Euxton Cam looks like its on the Slow Lines, so expect only the hourly Blackpool N-Liverpools and maybe freight.

You can see both fast and slow lines from the Euxton cam, the fast lines are the two nearest to the camera.

I don't think so. I saw the 1804 Preston-Liverpool Lime St go past on a weekday on the cam, and heard the 1758 Preston-Euston somewhere: I only saw the Liverpool train, they are the only services to use the slows.

Having only recently discovered the WCMLCam, I see they also have a camera on the ECML - however, I've checked back a couple of times in the last week or so, and it doesn't seem to be online at any point - has anyone actually seen it working?
