Apparently a "ned" is the same as an "insect" according to dreadful.org, which means "Insects - Derogatory term used by older bashers to describe the hordes of younger enthusiasts that discovered bashing in the mid 1980's. " However someone who discovered bashing in the 1980s would have had to be a teenager then so would be at least 35 or older now? In which case most of us are younger than "neds", but perhaps Dennis is a ned?

But, seriously, it's disgraceful that the older bashers called the younger bashers names. Surely they should encourage a new generation? After all if that generation that was bashing in the 80s wasn't around, would there be any enthusiasts around today other than really old people?

Ironically the people who used terms like "ned", "insect" and "Fossil" back in the 80s are themselves now fossils (to use their own words!)

Ive been called a ned once on the Holyhead 47's, by a tw*t known as " Widnes Sprog" who is a complete spoon goon, but he musn't be over 25 himself, and he is always p*ssed on Blue WKD's. It's people like that I'd rather see under the trains rather than on them. - well perhaps thats too harsh, but you know what I mean!! lol

The biggest "Desparate Gripper" going is the legendary Gordon "Adolf Hitler" Jones, an absolute tard from Liverpool. Thankfully now retired, after making me miss "van"004 on an ecs to Edge Hill, as he called the BTP, as apparently I was "spying" to see if he was coming so people in the front vestibule could film out the window!! What a loser!

And no, it's not the guard who had a go at Mark (the platform supervisor) from Macc, as you know it is now mr Adolf Hitler himself, who once "stopped bank robbers", well the police man at Lime St told me he always called the police for the slightest thing, ie if someone was using an out -of -area rover etc- like a "Heart of England" at Liverpool, that's an capital offence! The guy who had a go at Mark at Macc is called Kevin btw, and apparently, according to the VT complaints dept, he's had a "severe" telling off for both being aggresive to passengers [me!] and being aggressive, telling other members of staff and ordering him to leave a train for no apparent reason [Mark]
