This was on Channel 4 earlier but annoyingly I missed it. Did he get them right?

I think by the comments on Facebook... he did.

However, if you have Channel 4+1, you might still be able to catch it!

Yes, however he did not predict the numbers. He merely told us them after the event so I am quite dubious

He got them all right, I'm sad to say.

He could not reveal the numbers before it was drawn, which is of course fair enough. The game has to be fair for everyone who plays it.

That said, I'm convinced that there was something at work here. If he could really predict the lottery, he'd but a ticket on and bag the jackpot rather than playing stupid games with television viewers.

And also, he wasn't revealing the lottery numbers. He was just giving his prediction of what they'd be. If I told you what numbers I'd put on my lottery ticket I wouldn't be revealing the numbers.

Why not? It was a prediction. Hundreds of thousands people predict the numbers every week!

That's the video. It's been quite funny on Digital Spy tonight watching people try to come up with how he did it. I think it's quite impressive what he did, and i'm looking forward to the show on Friday where he reveals how he did it.

I wouldn't be suprised if it was because of Exclusivity rights that the BBC have with Camelot, so if he got them all right then technically the results would have been revealed before the BBC, although of course we wouldn't know the official results until the Draw was done on BBC One. I'd guess that the BBC opposed the showing on another channel in some way, meaning the show had to be done in the way it was.

If he can predict Saturdays numbers now then why not write them down, seal them in an envelope put somewhere safe and secure so that nobody can tamper with them (I'll look after them if he likes) and we'll see what happens. If he wins I'll send him the money, honest !

There were no winners on last nights Lottery. Dezza will be miffed.I wonder if it is possible to "ask" the main computer for six numbers that have not been chosen by the punters, once the terminals have been closed?

So he is going to tell us how he predicted the results before the draw so we can all copy it and win a whooping jackpot of <£1 per ticket each next week.

Cheap ratings trick if you ask me.

I havn't seen the programme in question, but I wonder how it'd have been possible for him to guess the numbers accurateley given that the Lottery is truly random?
IMO; This would be better run over a number of draws to see if he can be consistently accurate, and having him guess the bonus ball as well would help to guage accuracy and run it as a proper, scientific experiment. 8)

In the meantime though, does anybody have his telephone number?

The lottery draw is fixed. fact.

Most likely this is a publicity stunt between Brown and Camelot to boost flagging sales of lottery tickets.

Here's what he did (not how he did it!)

In a TV studio that was completely empty, apart from himself and two cameramen, he had a rack with six ping-pong balls and a TV.
He announced that the ping-pong balls were his prediction for last night's lottery numbers. At no point did he pr anyone else touch the balls, they were in sight at all times. He then switched on the TV, to show the Lottery draw. To satisfy myself, I flicked across to BBC1 to prove that what I was seeing on C4 was what was being shown on BBC1.
After the numbers were drawn, DB copied them onto a piece of card, then walked across to the rack of balls. Again, he did NOT touch the balls but turned the rack so that they were facing the viewer.

All six balls matched.

You can see it in split-screen here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lmxua_V1AcM

If what Derren Brown did was not a fix (unlikely probably...) then this could prove my theory that absolutely everything in life (even what people 'perceive' to be random, but that is another discussion entirely) is in fact predetermined, and he was in fact looking into the future. Personally, I think if such foresight is even possible (as demonstrated perhaps?) this also proves that life's events are predetermined, else, how else could one look into the future?

I personally believe that there is no such thing as random, or choice in the true sense, in that anything we do, and consequences therein, is just one huge scripted outcome, to put it simply.
