Quintrell Downs is also a penultimate station on a single track branch line.

Only two other stations have the word "Downs" in their name, both of which are within the M25. One of the two is Epsom Downs.

Winchester was the other end of the route that now forms the Watercress line. Of course, Winchester itself isn't on the modern Watercress line...

Broome is also a single platform station that was opened in 1860 that has a DfT category rating of F2.

That's more of a Settlement Association response. Sorry.

I am glad to see that you have pointed this matter out, as the Settlement Association quiz was originally set up to cater for the problems that were prevalent at that particular time.

Anyone accessing these quizzes should always look at the very first posting, where the rules governing that particular quiz will be found.
