In 2011, it was agreed that neither closed stations nor light rail system stations were to be used on this quiz.

Unfortunately, the rules were never amended to reflect these matters.

Gatwick Airport Liverpool Lime Street railway station is also managed by Network Rail.

Maesteg is another Valleys area station that is not currently expected to be electrified during the likely Valleys electrification scheme.

Dolau is also a Welsh station that was built in 1865 currently having only a single platform, with a DfT category rating of F2
