In 2011, it was agreed that neither closed stations nor light rail system stations were to be used on this quiz.
Unfortunately, the rules were never amended to reflect these matters.

Maesteg is another Valleys area station that is not currently expected to be electrified during the likely Valleys electrification scheme.

Dolau is also a Welsh station that was built in 1865 currently having only a single platform, with a DfT category rating of F2

Mitcham Junction is another 4-platform station with "junction" in its name and served both by heavy rail and the Croydon Tramlink
