Following on from Carstairs;

Salford Crescent, both have lines passing around its island platform, but no actual platform for trains to stop

Norton Bridge... island platform, ½ the tracks bypass it.





The fact that nothing can stop there is irrelevant, but could lead to the next entry!

Hmm, I found it tickling too, then again I suppose its what type of humour you are into... There are several jokes about 9/11 and Lockerbie floating around, but I repeat them on here I'd be banned.

From Polesworth, Arlesey, both stations on a four-track Mainline that only have platforms on the outer two.

Wilnecote, the only other station in the Royal Mail post town Tamworth that isn't called Tamworth.

Hinckley - the TOC which manages the station doesn't have any trains calling there.

Thorpe-le-Soken, both have had major resignalling works within the station area over the past few years.
