Default Manchester Piccadilly - Left Luggage Facilities

I would like to leave a small bag in left luggage at Piccadilly from Friday evening to around 0530 Saturday morning. I've seen from the NR website that Piccadilly has left luggage, but I will need to retrieve my stuff before it opens at 0700 - are there any automatic storage facilities either at Piccadilly or nearby? (I think it unlikely, but worth asking)

Not really, you could use a cloakroom at one of the clubs if thats where you're going, but otherwise I don't know of any.

Good guess! Not sure I would trust them with a bag to be honest. Plus it makes searching a hassle.

Not sure if they would allow you to take bags into certain clubs, I've seen people refused entry when they had one.

"But what about the elderly and disabled?"
"I'm sorry madam, we have nowhere you can leave them either"

Is that my train? Gotta go...

The only other alternative I could think of was the National Express station but they do not appear to have facilities either.

Thanks for the replies everyone.

Journey now completed, so no need for any more replies. Cheers!

Btw, I was surprised at the number of pax and trains at that time of the morning, esp for a Saturday.
