Nice...

I think the only change I'd make to my previously announced one is that SWT would re-instate 50-hauled services on the peak-time trains off Waterloo to Exeter and vice-versa. Loco haulage on ATW mainline runs would be desireable too.

I guess it depends what you mean by slammer. If you're on about the southern 3rd rail units, I'm with feltham2104 on this... nothing comes close IMHO. They'd definitely play a major part in my ideal railway.

I agree and disagree on slammers on the Southern Region. They're great, but in some areas the Electrostars excel over their generally superior predecessors.

We've got slam-door stock down here twice-daily, much more frequently down Newport...By which I mean the HSTs of course. That's slam-door stock I can't see ever being beaten.

Scotrail give the West Highland line an hourly 37/4 worked train each way!
47s and 86s make a come back to Cross Country
81s, 82s, 83s, 84s, 85s, 86s and 87s make a comeback to the WCML

All plastic to the scrap yard including every tug, shed and skip - bring on the proper traction! 20s, 26s, 31s, 33s, 37s and 47s

Tugs are NOT 'Plastic' and should not be scrapped

But i'm not saying that tugs are better than "20s, 26s, 31s, 33s, 37s and 47s"

There are many good reasons for this

But to be honest, I don't mind 66s. However, I would like some more variety around here.

Agreed! 60s are the best thing to run down here in terms of freight! Bloody brilliant sound and clag, demonstrated by 60032 a couple of Sundays ago.
