Richard Wilson...?
Ask him if there will be another series of Merlin after the current one.

Basil Fawlty!
Go on, ask him to do the Germans sketch. That always cracks me up. |

I haven't said hello as he's clearly quite busy and just wants peace and quiet on First Class. I tend not to interrupt celebs or bother them anyway - it would annoy me! One Foot In The Grave is my favorite ever sitcom though.

Richard Wilson was best man at a wedding I conducted in Leicestershire some years ago.
I found him to be a thoroughly agreeable chap and enjoyed a good conversation with him. He did, though, turn-up in a kilt! It was all I could do to stop myself uttering - "I don't belieeeve it!" |

The show is actually popular in the US.
I have an African American friend In Brooklyn NY who is a qualified vocal coach, and I love hearing her impressions - "I don't belieeeeeve it" being just one of many. |

If any of you have the special "One Foot in The Algarve" on DVD, watch it on a large screen and look very carefully at the young couple going into the Underground in the background during the "shoe-flapping down the telephone" scene at London Victoria early on in the episode...

Gary Lineker starts presenting Match Of The Day from Salford tomorrow, so look out for him, presumably travelling between EUS & MAN.
