Was a 153 but since December Timetable diagrammed 2 Coaches throughout, presumably a 150.

Yes - I've seen it about half a dozen times since the TT change, it has been a 150 on each occasion.

This is one of FGW's 'any train will do' services, bit of a lucky dip! What was it in the end?!

Most of the Great Malvern - Weymouth/Southampton Central get a lucky dip on the class that serves them. It could be any of (of which I've seen so far):-
  • Class 150/1
  • Class 150/2
  • Class 150 x2
  • Class 153
  • Class 153 x2
  • Class 158
  • …even a class 143

It's a complete gamble.

Not likely to be a 143 as they don't venture out onto the Southern region, thank god! But yes, it's certainly something of a mixed bag on this one; can't even say what livery the thing is likely to be in at the moment!

They wouldn't last long if they did!
