South Wales April 1978 - HELP REQUIRED

I am trying to piece together my records from Spring 1978 but have lost my notes from two weekends in April 1978 - 8th/9th, 15th/16th.

Did anybody on the forum record any observations west of Bristol Parkway, through Newport, Cardiff, and onto Swansea over either of these weekends. Notes of any Locos (passenger/freight), HSTs (formations/power car pairings), DMUs would be very welcome, as would any additional information if available, such as time observed, workings, etc.

Long shot I know, but any help would be much appreciated.
