Default DMU sets info required at York late 1970's

Does anyone have any old logs from York in the late 70's preferably around 1977, if not any year around this date, that show DMU sets at York. Searching some old logs. I came across this configuration and want to know if this is the correct configuration or not. Maybe they are two separate sets joined together or maybe three car set and the other a two car set on there own.

Class 111 DMBS E50280 + Class 104 TCL E59232 + Class 111 DMCL E50275 + Class 111 DMBS E50283 + Class 101 TSL E59571. All Nevile Hill based.

regards
Albert

Certainly a power car missing from that consist - I'm guessing that was two 3-car sets.

Vehicles numbered 59xxx were non-driving trailers, so wouldn't normally be at the end of a train in service, so there's likely to be a driving motor missing.
Also, you've listed them as DTCL and DTSL, implying D for Driving, but driving trailers were 56xxx back then. If it was a driving trailer, 59571 should have been 56571, but the number series didn't go that high.

Correct, eastwestdivide . I will edit that now. Thanks for pointing that out.
Can I add another question was E50163 or SC50163 in 1977. In the 1981 Motive power combined volume for 1981 Ian Allen, that has it as SC50163.

1976 RCTS coaching stock book has E50163 at BG (Hull botanic gardens), as does the 1978 book, but in my copy of the 78 book, it's been crossed out in pencil and ED (Eastfield) then DE (Dundee) written in

Cheers Eastwestdivide, just out of curiosity were you at York at the Western Finale tour on 12th Feb 1977 and have a log for that day or even be on its route and seen anything that might of been heading for York on that day.
I don't have any logs from that day anymore, lost many moons ago. All I have now are what other people have sent me from that day and numbers from photos I have seen on the net.

50163 moved from BG to ED in 1979. Generally the 111 power cars were kept together in sets, so I'd say 51559 was more likely to being part of that set at the time. Back in 1972 these two sets were formed:
50275+59232+50288
50283+59571+50278

So at least two of the cars were still paired up five years later.
