The free P&P option is "Economy Delivery (Royal Mail 2nd Class Standard)." Only the charged for P&P is a 24 hour courier.

Apparently you also can't send:

Quote:
Counterfeit currency, bank notes and postage stamps

This doesn’t include copies of old denominations that can’t be used as money, and are now obsolete and worthless except for their collectable value.
Which begs the question of what do you put on the envelope as payment?

But then I'm more worried about the radio active waste and pathogens I have at the back of my fridge that I was going to send to the Royal Society.

Well, one would hope that you don't put counterfeit stamps on it!

Ah, but the stamp loses its value the moment it enters the mail. So technically you're only sending a 'dead' stamp, and it's 'live' ones that are prohibited.

The wording bans the sending of counterfeit stamps through the post, not perfectly good ones.

This object is definitely not overpriced.
