A worthy winner. For me it was all in the lines. The seemless train whizzing by set against the stationary barrier with each line (alomst!) pointing to infinity out of shot right, with an interesting red light set at just the right height between them. Well done

Thanks Strat-tastic; appreciate your comment. I think the dynamic lines livery helps a bit too. There are a few more along similar lines in my flickr set:

Some lovely pics there. I think the ones taken on sunny days help by making the coloured 'stripes' more prominent.
