Default Fort William Sleeper route through Glasgow 80's

I would like to know the route of the Fort William Sleeper route through Glasgow in 1988/89/90 and 91.
I seem to recall passing through Motherwell.
Stood in a large yard-well lit- straight tracks for a long while.
Passing through a Glasgow Low Level station.

Was there more than one route?

In the good old days , loco swaps were done at Mossend with the change from electric to diesel (northbound) and reverse in the southbound direction. Usually routed via Coatbridge , Springburn , Ashfield and Westerton. Before that it divided at Mossend with a portion going to Queen Street tacking on coaches there for an early morning train to Fort William. Nowadays all the joining/splitting is done at Edinburgh Waverley in the early hours of the mornings (except sunday morning's)

Oh , and occasional diversions were had. Known the sleeper to be diverted via Hyndland , Queen. St low level , Coatbridge avoider , Whifflet and Mossend to Motherwell. Alternate was also via Central low level and Rutherglen. Nowadays it's east via the E&G and return via Falkirk Grahamston & Cumbernauld subject to whether the train is on time or not. Late running usually means its sent direct via Falkirk High.

Back then it was at Mossend, where the Fort William portion was detached from the Inverness. The 37 dropped onto the FW portion there and ran to Eastfield (no direct curve from Springburn to Queen St then). The day coaches were added to the back of the Euston portion at Eastfield by whatever loco was available and dragged into Queen St. The whole consist was then taken to FW by the 37.

In early 1988 the Fort William sleeper detached from the Inverness sleeper at Mossend. Bizarrely the Fort William portion then went up to Stirling via Cumbernauld (the Inverness portion followed a few minutes later). The loco on the Fort William portion (booked a 37/4 but sometimes a 47 as far as Glasgow) ran round at Stirling and ran to Glasgow Queen Street via Lenzie. Another 37/4 would be waiting at Queen Street with 2 or 3 mk1 coaches which were attached to the Fort William train. Booked departure from Queen Street was 05:40.
