Any idea what's running it? If I knew right now, I'd ring for a taxi and get the train to Hereford, arriving in plenty of time for the tour!

Actually that's an idea...

I'll confirm later what I do. Pictures will follow if I take that course of action!

Theres a 95% chance it will be a Skip (67) although I may be wrong.

Of course...Forgot it's usually Skips on the Edens.

Surprised you were up and able to reply so quickly!

Here's hoping it's not a Skip I've already seen!

Also, thank the Lord for the early lighting-up time (the only time I'll be grateful for light mornings at 0430) in the summer!

I've not long (1.25 hours) been back from a hard shift at work! Seems sometimes the harder the shift the more awake I am. Mind you, I did have a pizza at some time between 2130 and 2230...No wonder I've got energy!

I'm guessing it's 37s from Cardiff, IIRC it switches to steam at some point in the North. If this is the same tour I'm thinking of...Usually 37s up from Cardiff to Hereford to the North.

We'll soon see...I've got my taxi due to pick me up at 0300 (it's 0239 right now), my posts are reported to be posted an hour or so before they actually are...Better check my profile...Quite surprised there's apparently no change required today at Cardiff, there usually is!

Time for the next coffee...Pork luncheon meat sandwiches too...

I must be mad, I'm willing to sacrifice sleep for a railtour or two!

I should point out it's usually 37s off BTM, usually 67s off Cardiff. Forgot that earlier...

67019 was off Cardiff to Carlisle this morning, 67014 was running from Chester to Par. Although this has now since been posted by jonb!

I have pictures from today, but right now as soon as I post a quick report of the trip, I'm off to bed for some sleep!
