Default Making OpenBVE/ Windows recognise RailDriver as an 'attached joystick'

Good evening,

I've read on other forums via a google search that it may be possible to use RailDriver in OpenBVE, by customising controls and allying them to a recognised joystick.

RailDriver is not picked up as a joystick though, and no amount of jiggery pokery with the hardware manager seems to make it happen. Is there some way of making openBVE recognise it as a joystick and not just another HID?

Any help would be appreciated.
