Does anyone know if FGW are gonna relivery the sleeper stock into First house colours, like with First Scotrail?

Doubt it'll be dynamic lines. FGW have given up using Dynamic Lines on the high speed fleet and it's more a corporate livery train that one!
Tougher vinyls for what? The heat?
They should have thought of that before putting them on...
I want the plain navy they are using on power cars such as 43133 to remain. It holds the last shread of dignity that FGW has. It looks tidy, it looks posh, much better than the feminine pinks and purples they insist on.
No, FGW would be better off under male management again...
But as Liam says, i think at the moment, they are trying to find the toughest, most suitable vynals for the job, so the little Valenta Taliban cant peel them off!
Apparnetly, the thinking at the moment is that the 'wavvy lines' will start on P/Cs from the guards van door, leaving the main body clean of anything but 'First (f) Great Western' branding.
Not all the re-engined P/Cs are in the plain blue livery afaik. I've noticed a lot of them going past work lately in the norm FGW livery.

43009 (? - cant remember which was released first [scuse pun ]) was initially painted in Purple/Blue base colour and vynled up with Angel trains branding for the press launch of the MTU P/Cs, but was put straight into Barbie unpon entering trials/service.
I beg to differ. There are some in FGW livery, the rest in the plain blue with FGW branding. I can tell the diff in sound between a Valenta-powered unit, & a MTU thanks, especially when your hearing them (& seeing them when you get the chance to) go past your place of work every day, & being at the start of the thrash up Hemerdon, the difference is very distinctive.

43168, 43169, 43170 are fitted with VP185 engines which sound much closer to a MTU than a Valenta, they have had these engines a long while now (at least ten years) and these carry Barbie livery.........
Maybe I was wrong then, & I apologise. I forgot about the other Valenta-engined units. But there's def a lack of 'WOOSH' from these barbie-liveried cars, that you get with the basic Valenta units, & def a low droning sound, so I take it it's them, abeit there's only a handful of them.
