Hi, I tried to complete your survey but it does not work. When you try to submit it a message saying "This question requires an answer." is displayed, even though all questions have been answered.

It's the age question you also have to tick a gender box at the bottom of the age ranges. I think the survey would have been better if that question had been separated out. Anyway I've filled it in for you :)

I've had the same problem.

It may well be just a small glitch along the lines of adjusting the response options. :D

Ok now, I should have read advice above first!

Is no-one ever to be allowed to retire any more? (It's not an option on the form). The Coalition's plans are worse than I thought. :D

Done for you.

I'm sorted (or should be) gonna have a public sector final salary pension when I start working again...

Don't hold your breath, we're already fighting for them!

Done also. Good luck in your uni project, I'm currently in the middle of one as well at the moment!

Joining the public sector? Welcome to the world of the "tea drinkers" as the public describe us (although, given more work in my office, I wouldn't be drinking tea!)

I would like to know what the purpose of the survey is (I have filled it in). I trust you have distributed it to a lot of other people apart from those on this forum. If you haven't, and when writing it up, you will have to explain your sampling method, and unless your thesis is about 'Holiday preferences of travel-based forum members', you will have to extensively explain the inherent bias! Already there seems to be a problem that retired people may not be represented. Or perhaps this is a trial questionnaire which will highlight problems- that are usually unexpected - that you can refine when you do your final version.

Good luck anyway!

Would love to but I keep getting asked to answer questions which I have!

Matt - have you noticed the gender preferences at the bottom of Q1, which caught me out. These would be better as separate questions.

Nah, I noticed that, and I agree it would be better as a separate question. Just started again and it worked, however, I did nothing differently :|

You'd have thought after reading comments here that I'd realise about Question 1....but no, still caught me out!

Done anyway. Would be interested to know what you are studying :)
