Bristol Parkway or Newton Abbott to Nottingham Evening ticket restrictions

Is an SVR return from either Bristol Parkway or Newton Abbott to Nottingham valid for return journeys leaving Nottingham during weekday evening peak hours. I can't see any restriction, but I seem to remember there is some XC evening peak restriction on some tickets priced by them?

There's a restriction on some of their off-peak day returns (CDR) but not on off-peak returns (SVR). I know that when I've wanted to travel to Birmingham after the morning peak but returning the same day in the CDR afternoon peak I've been sold a SVR rather than an SDR.

Yes, see Restriction 2V for the route Via Birmingham fares and 9J for route ✠ Via London. Neither has evening restrictions from Nottingham, but 9J restricts evening peak travel from Paddington.

Perhaps you are thinking of Off-Peak Day Returns (CDRs).
