If you'd done a search on the forum, you'd have found several threads already dedicated to this subject.

The latest information is that the last day of 57 haulage will be 23rd of March, with 67s taking over a week today.

But, to be fair to the OP, those threads end up going off onto so many speculative and/or political tangents that it is sometimes rather difficult to extract any useful information from them.

North Wales rail website tomorrow should have the details, if its to happen next week,Charlie Hume usually gets the inside info from ATW staff who drive them.
Was your source from in house Michael.
According to ATW staff I talk to, everyone wants shut of the unreliable 57s.

It's not my source - the link in my post comes from user anthony263.

The only thing I know from "in house" is that recently a lot of the guards have been trained on the 67s, so it seems we're in the "endgame", so to speak.

Sure enough, the 67s have started. 67002 headed the first service this week. When will the newly-painted DVTs make an appearance?

Apologies if this isn't the right place to put this but the WAG train thread seems to have been closed. Those of you with "inside knowledge" probably knew this anyway but BBC Wales have reported today that from September there will only be one WAG train each way per day, leaving Holyhead at 05.32 and returning from Cardiff at 18.18, and it will run via Wrexham.

good, evening Mr Williams,we have been discussing this since Thursday on other threads,WAG gave a press release at 0001Wednesday,in today's local Wrexham Leader(friday) and also carried on BBC radio/tv/ITV Wales & webs.

The train is downgraded to enhanced not Premier,in my opinion much like a W/S
service which was excellent, looks like a buffet service with first class, the travelling chef never caught on,lessons learned.
