From ATW

0709 Pembroke Dock to Swansea - Extended service.
Extended to Cardiff Central calling at Neath, Port Talbot Parkway, Pyle and Bridgend,
arriving Cardiff Central at 1041 hrs. This provides an addition Swansea to Cardiff service
and an extra through service from West Wales to Cardiff.
1445 Cheltenham Spa to Maesteg - Revised Gloucester start point & extended to
Fishguard.
Will start Gloucester at 1435 and is extended to Fishguard Harbour, departing Cardiff at
1604. This will replace the current 1514 service which will terminate at Swansea and
improves the journey time from Cardiff to Fishguard by 26 minutes.
1230 Manchester Piccadilly to Milford Haven - Re-timed.
Is re-timed between Newport and Milford Haven. Will depart Newport at 1522, Cardiff
Central at 1539, calling Bridgend, Pyle, Port Talbot Parkway, Neath and Swansea.
This will provide a fast services from Cardiff to West Wales at 1542 in addition to the 1604
departure and reduce journey times between Manchester, Cardiff and West Wales.

You will have seen the Nth Wales changes on other threads, hope this helps

Extending the 07:09 Pembroke Dock - Swansea service to Cardiff will be brilliant since the 09:10 Swansea - Cardiff service never runs on time if it turns up at all as it hasn't once or twice i have gone to catch it.

Thanks anthony for the heads up over at fishguardtrains.info (I assume you're the same anthony).

merlodlliw, is the new timetable available anywhere in full? In particular, I'd be interested to see the calling times at Fishguard & Goodwick (FGW, still not in the journey planners it would seem) and discover whether any services terminate there.

I think they are putting a bus interchange at goodwick station and with this station nearer the town their wouldn't be any need for most trains going on to harbour other than to meet ferries.

Its in a letter from ATW we've had but no further info apart from whats posted already.

Gareth is correct, no disc was sent out this year for consultation, all the infos put up by myself were taken from the letter circulated to stakeholders.

Copies of the letter have been sent out to
RUGS
County Councils/Metro & City Councils (Wales & England)
Statutory Travel Consortia such as Taith etc in Wales
Some ATW staff etc

The main page is stock blurb from Senior ATW staff at land of Leather,
A large poster will appear at Stations later in April with timetable plus the web

If anyone wishes to see this letter, PM me with an E mail address,

Bob

Isn't the 07:09 from Pembroke the 153 that sits at Swansea for ages (from 09:23 until it runs the 17:10 Swanline). If so, does this mean there is no idle unit now, or is there another unit that will still be sat there? Most important is whether there is still going to be a Sprinter sat in Swansea between 13:14 and 17:10, because if so it could provide a 15:24 Fishguard to Cardiff service (it would arrive in Swansea at around 16:57 and take up the existing 17:10 swanline as it does now).
