Not bad, some nice pictures and articles in there.

However, one thing I noticed on the Christmas Cracker review, there was no mention of the heating failure and half the lights in Coach B were not working.
Plus the running on the outskirts of Portsmouth I wouldn't really term as excellent, more of a stagger, but thats my personal opinion ;).

Other than that I've no quibbles about it ;)

Maybe rename it Chavtalk with one of the pics ;)

Just a few things some ARTICLES look unusual wth BLOCK capitals to emphasize a word-not professional!

I would also say some articles are slightly biased, eg how do you know 8 car 377s will fit into platforms? Or is that just an opinion, for if it is then there are too many IMO.

Otherwise great!

PLEASE can I EMPHASISE that CAPITAL letters ARE very NICE for US to READ but UNFORTUNATELY it CONSTITUTES internet SHOUTING.

HOWEVER, as I don't really CARE, but LIAM appears to CARE, I am SIMPLY EMPHASISING this.

THANK YOU for your PATIENCE.

8 car 377s would JUST fit in at Watford, though that is the only station with that issue. Although, the artical about destination boards is a bit stupid, the could be many reasons why Desiros dont have the same as Electrostars, yet such a small issue managed to get into a magazine that I hope wants to get better? Im sorry but if the magazine hopes to get more readers then little silly things like that is not helping.

Italics emphasise in a much nicer way. ;)

I wish people would use italics more....

Nice magazine, although some parts are unprofessional.

Its so, so.

Some of the articles are pretty poor and written without much knowledge.

And an article about Destination displays!?

Errrr.....

To be fair they were poor quality pictures of Destination Displays.

On the subject of this exciting PID topic. The CT/SL 350s seem to have LED based External Displays? A firing question towards the South West e.g. Slash, Paul10235235, Tom, Nathan, Coxster Do the 444/450s have Flip Dot Displays?

Just one of lifes mini questions I have. ;)

Some brilliant snaps - the articles are a bit pants in places but its getting better.

You really do need to give it a decent proof read though. Silly mistakes are the worst!

"Two first transpenine, class 158 have now been converted into class 159‟s. Both 159101 and 159102 are with south west trains based at Salisbury."

"Two First TransPennine Class 158 units have now been converted into Class 159's. Both 159101 and 159102 are with South West Trains based at Salisbury."

The second looks so much better but the changes are really really minor.

And I know I've seen some of the articles before. For example the GNER one is mostly cut and paste from The Scotmans web page!!

Some good pics guys. However, as I said for the first issue,

*please please please* put it past the eyes of someone who is certain to get grammar and punctuation 110% correct *before* you publish it?

I agree, maybe reduce the font sizes in places aswell. The larghe fonts look like you didn't have enough to write about.

Absolutely.

If you guys are seriously after someone to proof read your work feel free to send it my way, I'm always happy to spend an hour or two having a look through.

We are only at issue 3 if you see how far we have come from issue 1 this is only minor.

It may be only minor to you but it is the deciding factor on whether any new readers will like it.

If they see multiple spelling, grammer, punctuation mistakes that have been missed out, what are the chances of them reading the next?

Pretty slim.

Especially with rivals such as The Railway Herald and Colin Marsden's photography magazine.
