I've paid for an Annual Gold Card which includes 6 SWT day tickets anywhere across their network.

Can I add on a PlusBus for - say -Bournemouth if I present at ticket office in London?

If not, could anyone work out the cheapest ticket outside the Bournemouth PlusBus boundary which would get me one?

Much appreciated!

Gotta make the most of that sun while it's here...

I would say that you can't as your free ticket does not have a start and end station.

I myself have had problems getting Plusbus with my Virgin Trains free first class pass, for Birmingham Plusbus

Ah good point I hadn't considered that - yes you're right I only complete the date and travelcard number.

Which gold card do you hold? Let me guess...Ryde pier head to Ryde Esplanade? <D

You should be able to get something like a single for Pokesdown - Bournemouth (£2.20 SDS) and then the plusbus on top of that, PlusBus is £3

The cheek of it. I'm sure I don't know to what you refer : ) Actually mine is a London zones..Honest.

I was thinking about Pokesdown but I think it needs to be the first station outside the PlusBus area.
That could be Christchurch or New Milton or err Branksome or beyond Poole?
Just don't have the L&SE map combined with PlusBus map near me at mo.

I say again, cheek, Ryde Pier indeed!

Christchurch is inside the Bournemouth + Poole plusbus area.

Hilton Admiral or Hamworthy are the nearest stations.

As Christchurch, Bournemouth & Poole are in the same PLUSBUS area I would buy a Hinton Admiral - Christchurch SDS + Plusbus £2.80 + £3.00 available from any station or online.

Is the bus operators' day ticket really that expensive?

Plusbus offers travel on Yellow Buses, Wilts&Dorset, Damory Coaches, First, Shaftsbury&District.

A day operator's ticket will be just there own buses. :)

Precisely!

And also thanks Owlman, that sounds like the best solution.

I'd say its worth trying a few ticket offices to see if they'll sell the plusbus with the free ticket, they may, they may not. I'd only buy the extra tickets if all else fails

If your going for the sun then why do you want to be stuck on a stuffy bus? Just walk around, in the sun.
