Hi guys,
I'm travelling from Derby to Newcastle (and return) tomorrow morning, and was wondering if any savings can be made on the direct Off-Peak Return price with 16-25 railcard?
I see that there are some cheaper advances still available, however I need the flexibility of the off-peak return. Could any savings be made on this, perhaps going non-direct, or split-ticketing? I'm doubtful but thought I'd ask anyway!
Also, are there any trains from Newcastle to Derby later than the 19:44, again perhaps going non-direct? NRE doesn't show any (unless I arrive the next morning, which isn't an option!) but there are people on here that may know, so I thought I'd ask.
Regards,
Jack
