The 'classic' WCML and M1 photograph

One of the classic pictures which we don't seem to have seen for a while is pictures of trains running along the WCML next to the M1 south of Watford Gap. I'm assuming that's because the lineside has become overgrown. It certainly looks that way on Google maps.

Can anyone conform/deny or link to any recent pictures?

Yeah it looks like the foliage has rather grown up compared to the old BR blue era pictures along the same stretch:

I tried on a few recent car trips north (as a passenger) and it is overgrown. Badly.

You might get a shot off the few over bridges but I have a feeling they are farmers crossings. I doubt they are accessible to the public.

I can't help with any current pictures, but I do have one taken in 1961 when the M1 was still a novelty. Hardly a Mastershot, but if anyone is interested to have a look, here's the link :
