Could someone possibly tell me the history of this fare, And do any fares exist?
Doing some digging on the ATOC site shows it existed at least as far back as NFM94 (10th September 2006 to 1st January 2007) and was "sponsored" by Virgin Trains with Rugby as the relevant railhead. It was still present in NFM98 (2nd January to 17th May 2008), which was the last printed edition, but appears to have been removed/forgotten with the move to The Manual.
Add-ons were 40p Child Single, 80p Adult Single or Child Return and £1.60 Adult Return and still appear in Journey Planner at the same price.
