The tvm at Garforth station was removed a month or so age.

A new machine has now been installed in exactly the same place (Leeds-bound platform, behind a drinks vending machines - ie very easy to miss unless you happen to board/alight an up (ie Leeds-bound) train by the rear door). The new machine (as per the old one) offers the full range of tickets (except tickets from other origins, and except wypte products as far as I can see) and takes cash or cards.

Cross Gates only has a booking office (that is open until 13:15) and no machine. East Garforth also has a card only TVM and no booking office. Micklefield has nothing at all.

No, it doesn't. You can find these details on the National Rail Enquiries site under "Stations & on train" - "Stations & destinations".

I hadn't noticed any different to be honest! But the "other destinations" button was not working on 19th April. All other buttons were working! I tried (twice) calling the "help point" to alert Northern but there was no answer. There were no issues buying the full range on board though.

Thanks Matt and Oscar.

Someone somewhere made a reference to the old machine having gone (and the station consequently following 'unstaffed' rules when ticket office shut, and with it being in a stupid position (hidden) I thought it worth a post here. I believe a member on here does an occasional journey splitting tickets at Garforth.

I'll edit my post. Thank you. Does mick have any tvm please?

As said previously, it doesn't, and it would probably be on of the first things to be damaged if it was installed. According to some, Micklefield isn't the nicest station in the WY area...;)
