Perhaps you should get your hosting website live before trying to gain customers? Just a thought...

I personally prefer the description of the monthly cronjob that the forum runs.

That sounds even worse than menstruation.

mmm....cronjob. lol

yeah my ideas come and go..
however this time its a joint service me and Phil are running.

The site being live.. isnt needed yet as we are not trying to get paid customer
http://support.protoip.com for any info needed file a support ticket.

Why the free hosting.. to get a reputation for being good. and offering a good service.

At the moment free hosting plans run on http://SOMETHING.myintel.co.uk but i would be happy to setup for http://SOMETHING.first-rail.co.uk

first-rail.co.uk could be a simple redirect back to this forum.

I know i come up with ideas every now and then but for once i would like this to work..

its not all about money and in my case it isnt. so free packages are up for grabs :)

Code:
root@vps [~]# uptime
 20:27:37 up 59 days, 21:30, 1 user, load average: 0.79, 0.99, 0.83
since last reboot.

Means absolutely nothing to me. Just technical bollox from you.

Change the record.

Running a server is actually quite difficult - think about your desktop computer and how often that needs to be rebooted.

As for the hosting, no harm in trying it I suppose. If it turns out to be crap, you've not exactly wasted any money.
