Morning all,

Haven't seen it posted here, but just in case some of you aren't aware, Chiltern Railways have a number of vacancies open.

What's more impressive is that for a company that does a lot of internal recruitment, they have vacancies for trainee train managers. High pay, and of course there's always prospect for internal promotion... and to help you secure that elusive job of a driver with the invaluable experience you will gain in this role. (with another company, who knows?)

Also they have a number of graduate management posts and engineering roles.

A company with a great ethos and high staff satisfaction and from what I've read hard to get into unless you already qualified and have experience in the industry.

Get applying!

P.S Only 2 days left before the vacancy closes for the trainee train manager!

Usually if you belong to a professional group, such as Institute of Civil Engineers etc (or whatever is relevant to that particular role). If you're not a member then just leave it blank, or you could put you are willing to become a member/achieve chartered status.

ive applied for different jobs with nearly all tocs and never seen that before. thanks.

It probably matters more for a high-up job, where they'd expect you to have a certain number of years experience doing the job and the qualifications and memberships to go with it.
