I was talking about dreams with Yorkie on Wednesday and last night I had a totally bizarre one! I don't remember the beginnining but here is how the rest went:

I remember arriving on a hill in the middle of the countryside with "Joy54", "Harold" and "960012" when all of a sudden a Doctor Who style 'Cyberman' came over the grassy bank. Joy54 tried to reason with it for a few seconds but eventually we ran off into a lift (remember we were in the middle of the countryside - no idea why!). We all got into the lift but the Cyberman just managed to push the doors open in the nick of time. It must have been a series of lifts because there were about three.

The next thing I remember was being on Woking platform 5 and getting onto a Class 444 with just Harold and Joy54 (what happened to 960012? Caught by the Cyberman?) and a casually dressed RPI came to us and checked our tickets. We then remembered Joy54 had put us back in time to try and rid the Cyberman but it didn't work. I looked for my tickets but they had gone from my wallet. This was because "we" had gone back in time from before we had bought tickets! The RPI didn't believe our story but still let us alight at Farnborough without hassle and Joy54 continued on the 444 towards Basingstoke.

I said he could come back to my house because he lived miles away. The next thing I know we are walking past an industrial estate and into my home which is a large canopy like Brighton station with lots of people in it and planes flying past as part of an airshow. There were photographers in my house (or should that be public canopy ;)) taking photos through holes in the roof. It wasn't a station - just the canopy of Brighton station. There were no tracks or platforms and it was all on ground level.

Not sure what happened afterwards as my brother woke me up by hoovering my room.

Nice dream...!

I don't recall too much about the one I had the other day, but I was glad to wake up from it!

At some point, I was buying a 15p Milkybar (which I did recently, probably the same day of the dream), which had an offer about a free travelcard or something. Fantastic deal, bit of nice chocolate (none of that Cadbury's junk!) and a great deal on travel around London. At least that's what I think it was. I recall being at a ticket barrier talking to an RPI about how my ticket wasn't valid or something, this was a conversation full of things like threats of police action and stuff from what I remember, it was certainly very scary!

I don't recall much else, but I do remember waking up to turn my alarm off on my watch around 0730. Fell back to sleep and had some other horrible dream too, this one not related to rail from what I remember about that. Woke up from that around 1130, and I was VERY grateful to be awake and getting up!

A while ago I do remember a dream where I was on a station watching a HST going by and going 'My Lordz, hellfire!' as it opened up and stormed on round the bend. I'm told I talk in my sleep, so I can only wonder what my Mum and my brother might have thought if I shouted that out in my sleep! What else happened there I don't remember.

I suppose I could write these dreams off as weird, but I can't exactly do that! Time to analysis them I think!

Who were the photographers? Did they shout "are you okay? are you sure?" every 20 seconds? Did they have multiple names and did they wash train windows with tissue paper and bottled water? ;)

(If anyone does not understand, don't ask on here, ask Coxster or myself in person to explain it to you ;))

Could be bad memories of the time an RPI took our permit to travel off us and the other RPI didn't believe us?

This has to be bad memories of a certain person who went in your house and took loads of photos. Presumably he was asking "Are you okay?" every 10 seconds while doing this ;) Look out for another dream where the photos appear on Fotopic and a nightmare where he tries to rest his head on your shoulders...

Good we had that Virgin guard as a witness (well, good for most of us on that train :p)

Nope, but we have to get him on a meet again for more comedy action, I missed out last time :( Bring a bucket, mop, water, etc. ;)

Anyone reading this who hasn't met him must be wondering what we're going on about!! :D

It was embarrasing for those of us there when it was done at Moorgate in the rush hour, but then when he did it on the CEP railtour... well... you can imagine!!!

I feel left out
Where do you want me to start?

  • The time he came on a meet (back in 2004) and tried to declare his love for a straight man in a Slammer.
  • The time he photographed half the rooms in my house without me knowing and uploaded them to Fotopic on a local forum meet.
  • The time he tried to clean a Class 313's windows at Moorgate in the evening rush hour.
  • The time he tried to clean a CEP's windows on a railtour and was handed a bucket/broom by a station assistant.
  • The time he wanted us to go to a gay strip club when at Kensington Olympia on a forum meet.
  • The time we abandoned him after he caught up with us when we were running around Harrow's back streets trying to lose him.
