Thats a good point - exactly the same could have been argued when the 37s finished on the Fort William Sleeper last year, and look at all the frothing which took place there! Having said that, I'm sure that 20 years ago, a particular type of EMU finishing on one route would have attracted attention off only a few people - I would suggest the change is due to the loco scene being much less interesting nowadays, with the lack of variety and hauled passenger trains.

Well,

If you think about it this way, they are only units! Units get moved around all over the place! You don't see people crying over the TPE 158s moving from the line they have been on do you! So really a unit is a unit doesn't matter were its being used its still the SAME.

Mr Hentis was thinking of taking a trip up there Saturday??

as for 313s comments, theres a difference between 158s and 442s, 442s are actaully like and 158 are just hated by most and those that do like them need there heads sorting out!

Such a shame that will be, atleast I wont be trying to top up my 321 milage a week before they go as like I have said, they are units, plenty around, plenty to bash if need be. As for the 321s... I dont mind really, I still have my 319s ;)

159s aren't too bad, lack of legroom lets them down though.
